Background

Adrian Smith, a renowned dog groomer and the owner of the Groomed by Adrian pet salon, has made waves in the industry since 2012. With locations in New Orleans and Atlanta, Adrian has built a reputation for creating colorful looks, showcasing his talents on television and at trade shows, and coaching aspiring groomers on their journey to success. As his business continued to flourish, Adrian recognized the need for a comprehensive brand strategy and a website redesign to position his business for the future.

Approach

Our initial planning meetings focused on understanding Adrian’s main business objectives: streamlining the booking process, growing his team, launching a pet grooming training program, and selling his own line of grooming products. With full creative direction entrusted to us, we drafted an engaging website design that reflected Adrian’s eclectic personality, using his favorite color, teal. The website’s overall style was carefully crafted to match the unique ambiance of his salons.

To prevent users from being overwhelmed, we structured the website to present information intuitively without clutter. With most of his website traffic originating from social media and mobile devices, we paid meticulous attention to the mobile experience.

Strategic placement of appointment booking widgets, client photos, and testimonials throughout the website enhanced credibility and encouraged bookings. The homepage featured an opt-in form for clients to join Groomed by Adrian’s exclusive text message list, where they would receive updates on specials and Adrian’s travel notices when grooming in other cities.

Additional pages included a redesigned price list, team bios, an online store, and detailed sales pages for grooming classes and dog models. Recognizing the importance of social media, we developed consistent messaging and created captivating graphics for various campaigns.
